If you are as old as the Campsie Hills and visited Glasgow many moons ago when the city was in much need of a lick of paint and some major investment, you may be forgiven for remembering it was not one of the prettiest cities of the world. But that’s exactly what it has become. It’s such a vibrant place and the old Glasgow has evolved and the city now thrives on some of the best shopping and entertainment complexes in the UK and a riverside development programme as good as you’ll find anywhere. Here is the perfect example and a combination of both features with the new Glasgow BBC headquarters sitting pretty opposite the SECC. Doesn’t the dear green place look swell?
